Seven months and seven days, We're flying through the emptiness of open space. My back it hurts, and I strain to see, and I worry that this fragile form is failing me... There's no time to rest, no rest to sleep, and my spirit is sinking deep... Our view of home, that faintest light, and no one has ever been as far away before.. All of those I've left behind, the faces I might never see again. There's no shoulder for the tired soul, and no one to pull us back from the edge... From the edge! How this will end I cannot tell, cause solace it escapes me, in this confining shell.. And its just the two of us out here, so who are all these voices whispering in my ear! And in my head! Get out of my head! Get out of my head! Warning lights are blinking red And Leslie's only shaking her head at me No sympathy in her eyes.. Deep in this mental maze, I'm trying to carve my way out to a brighter state. I need a new place to hold on to I've been lost and too selfish to see that no one's to blame but me. Feeling the pull from below We try to rise, on our withered bones.. But.. Her rover's been caught in the blastwave and She's not doing so good..
